At Create Calm, yoga therapy is at the heart of our mission to foster healing, connection, and empowerment in all individuals and communities. Our certified yoga therapists offer trauma-sensitive, developmentally appropriate practices that ensure every client is seen, heard, and supported.

Programs for Stress Relief and Trauma Recovery
for Children, Families and Caregivers
In partnership with therapeutic centers including Amare Counseling & Education, Create Calm provides services in collaboration with psychologists, counselors, occupational therapists and physical therapists to support children and families as they navigate behavioral and emotional challenges, developmental delays, and build healthy relationships.
Support for Children and Adults with Physical Illness, Chronic Physical Challenges, or Mental or Physical Disabilities
Therapeutic interventions to enhance physical and emotional healing from illness, injury, or chronic physiological challenges such as diabetes, osteoporosis, stroke, rheumatoid arthritis, auto-immune imbalances, and cystic fibrosis are offered in partnership with many community organizations such as the Inova Fairfax Adult Cystic Fibrosis Program and Inova Life with Cancer.
Group therapy sessions, like those provided on-site through Baltimore City Therapeutic Recreation and virtually through Integrated Living Opportunities, bring the mental and pjysical health benefits of yoga therapy to individuals with developmental disabilities.
These programs are adaptable, inclusive, and designed to build courage, connection, and independence.
