Inclusive & Trauma Smart
Programs For A-Typical & Neuro-Diverse Populations
Create Calm is dedicated to providing inclusive and accessible programs for all members of our community, including those with unique challenges and neuro-diverse development.
In partnership with Baltimore City Parks & Recreation Therapeutic Programs, Integrated Living Opportunities (ILO), and Hearts & Homes for Youth, Create Calm has offered yoga and mindfulness programs for individuals who are differently abled or who might not otherwise have access to this type of wellness programming.
Through the Baltimore City Parks & Recreation Therapeutic Programs, Create Calm invites individuals with disabilities to participate in a chair-based, accessible yoga program through Inclusion Services. These classes are free, open to the public, and take place twice weekly.
Hearts & Homes for Youth is a program that supports youth who have experienced neglect, abuse, mental health issues, homelessness, and other trauma to make positive life choices and build brighter futures. Integrated Living Opportunities (ILO) is a nonprofit that helps young adults with developmental disabilities transition to independent living with the necessary supports to create a full life and become fully integrated into the wider community.
Together, we can ensure that everyone, especially those who are underserved, have the tools to be happy and well.

Artful Movement For Schools and Families

These educational experiences are provided free of charge to schools and several are open to the public. To inquire on behalf of your school, please contact lisa@createcalm.org.
