Lisa Danahy is a powerful educator and entrepreneur who has through the founding of Create Calm has facilitated cultural shifts and deep healing for thousands of students, teachers, and families in hundreds of schools and community organizations across the country since 2016.

With an MS in Yoga Therapy and BA in Psychology, over 30 years as a school administrator and SEL curriculum developer, and certification as an advanced educator and trainer, Lisa is highly skilled at creating accessible, evidence-based, successful curricula for behavioral and emotional regulation, as well as physical and mental health.

Lisa specializes in providing programs for neurodivergent, disabled, and underserved children and young adults as well as trainings for educators, therapists, parents, and caregivers in practices of self-care and resiliency. Lisa is a Hay House featured author, national conference presenter, and international trainer. She is grateful for every opportunity she has to co-create healing and healthy living.

Certifications: Maryland State Department of Education & DC OSSE Approved Trainer; Certified IAYT yoga therapist; Certified Education Professional for Yoga Alliance; E-RYT 500 (Maryland University for Integrative Health, Kripalu, Radiant Child, Pranakriya, Gentle Somatic Yoga); specialized trainings in therapeutic/trauma-informed yoga, yoga nidra, and prenatal yoga.

Andree has many years of experience working with all kinds of kids in all kinds of settings (speech therapy, equine therapy, canine therapy) and loves all of it. In yoga, helping a child find physical strength, flexibility and balance, while developing these same attributes emotionally, is an incredibly rewarding experience. The connection between mind and body is mirrored in the connection with their community, whether that be teachers, parents, siblings or friends. Brock Martin, RYT-200, BA Foreign Affairs Brock is a certified yoga and mindfulness teacher dedicated to helping children and adults find peace in the present moment. He holds a 95-hour children’s yoga certification through Radiant Child Yoga, a RYT-200 from the National Yoga Academy, and is also a certified School Mindfulness Lead through the Mindfulness in Schools Project. Brock currently teaches yoga and mindfulness to children, faculty, and parents at the National Child Research Center in Washington, D.C.
